Confirmed 2026-06-16: Disqus is a comment-platform/ad-tech company now affiliated with Zeta Global (seed email [email protected] reflects this). Primary opt-out is the Data Sharing Settings page at disqus.com/data-sharing-settings/ — toggling data sharing off. For a full CCPA DSR (deletion/do-not-sell), users must submit via the OneTrust-hosted portal linked from the privacy policy (privacyportal-cdn.onetrust.com); the form requires first name, last name, email, relationship-to-Disqus dropdown, and request type. Disqus sends an email verification link that must be clicked to complete the request — in 2024 Disqus reported 5,275 requests were not actioned because the requestor did not complete verification. Authorized agents accepted but must complete the same verification flow. Logged-in users' opt-out preference is account-persistent; logged-out users receive a cookie-based opt-out. Browser DNT honored except Safari 7. Footer 'Do Not Sell or Share My Info' link leads to Privacy Choices page.
