What we know about this broker

BROWSE.md §5.7. The Nielsen Computer & Mobile Panel is an opt-IN metering panel: participants install Nielsen's metering software/app on their devices, which collects browsing and app-usage clickstream. The PRIMARY lever to stop collection is UNINSTALLING the panel app/extension and de-enrolling from the panel — that is a user-attested uninstall (collection stopped at source), NOT a server-side deletion proof. In parallel we file a CCPA delete/opt-out DSR via Nielsen's rights portal (privacy-statement/exercise-your-rights) and [email protected]. Honest ceiling: broker_confirmed → "Suppression asserted"; clickstream data has no public profile to re-scan, so this never reaches verified_removed (BROWSE.md §4). Pair the DSR with the panel-uninstall guided flow (user_attested_uninstall). Distinct from Nielsen Marketing Cloud / eXelate (ad_tech) — see recipes/exelate-inc.yaml. Confirmed 2026-06-17.
