Updated 2026-06-18: the live privacy-center deletion entrypoint first asks only for deletionEmail before sending the consumer an email-verification step; name, date of birth, and address are later-stage identity fields and stay optional until a fixture proves they are needed before submission. Two-step email verification: an initial email link to authenticate the session, then a time-sensitive code (expires ~15 minutes) to confirm identity. Authorized agents accepted conditionally: must provide written consumer authorization (full name, address, phone, email, signature) plus certificate of good standing, or a valid power of attorney; the consumer's email is separately verified. No government ID upload required in-portal. Suppression propagates across affiliated sites within a few days to weeks.
