Opt-out at socialcatfish.com/opt-out/ — user must first locate their own profile on the site, copy the profile URL, paste it into the form, provide an email address, and solve a reCAPTCHA, then click 'Remove This Listing'. A confirmation email is sent; user must click the verification link to finalise the request. Removal takes 15–21 days (CA/NV expedited within 15 days). Data may relist if public records are updated. Seed category corrected to people_search and tier elevated to 1 given public profile is re-observable. Privacy Lock feature (socialcatfish.com/privacy-lock) offers broader suppression but requires account creation. Optional fields (phone, address) should only be supplied if already visible on the discovered profile to avoid over-sharing.
